Travel Destinations from Lebanon 50% in total score

For the Lebanon Travel Score calculation, we relied on government travel data from 199 passport-issuing countries and territories, combined with real-time intelligence and proprietary research. This factor includes a Mobility Score (MS) measuring ease of travel, which focuses on visa-free (VF) travel, visa on arrival (VOA), eTA and eVisa (if issued within three days). Based on that data, we assigned Lebanon a Travel Score of 58 which means that Lebanon passport holders can enter a total of 58 destinations — either without a visa, through a visa on arrival or via an eTA.

Perception 10% in total score

For the Lebanon Perception Score calculation, we relied on the World Happiness Report, the Human Development Index and subjective factors from our networks’ experience to determine how each country’s citizens are perceived and recognised. Based on that data, we assigned Lebanon a Perception Score of 10, meaning that Lebanon citizens are refused entry to a substantial number of countries and/or encounter substantial hostility.

Dual Citizenship 10% in total score

For the Lebanon Dual Citizenship Score calculation, we relied on embassy data and our experience to assess the ability to hold dual citizenship. Based on that data, we assigned Lebanon a Dual Citizenship Score of 50, meaning that Lebanon citizens are almost always allowed to hold other citizenships.

Freedom 10% in total score

For the Lebanon Freedom Score calculation, we relied on data and news reports on mandatory military service, government surveillance, press freedom and other factors to determine the personal freedom of citizens and expats. Based on that data, we assigned Lebanon a Freedom Score of 20, meaning that Lebanon citizens have low freedom.
