How to Get Cayman Islands Residency

Cayman Islands Residency Certificate through Substantial Business Presence

– You must own (or propose to hold) at least 10% of the business shares in a business in an approved industry. – Alternatively, you must work at a senior management level. – You must live in the Cayman Islands for at least 90 days per year.

– Gateway to Cayman citizenship – You must invest $2,400,000 in developed real estate in the Cayman Islands. – You can bring your spouse and dependents. – The permit enables you and your spouse to work in the Cayman Islands.

If you acquire permanent residency, don't leave the Islands for more than 90 days at a time, and live in the country for most of the five years, you can be eligible for British Overseas Territories Citizenship.
