Rusudan Abdushelishvili

Rusudan is a Financial professional with more than 10 years of experience in Financial Management, Audit and Accounting. She holds a BA in Accounting and Finance as well as MBA in Auditing, Accounting and Finance from Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. She is certified as a Public Sector Auditor by the Public Audit Institute at the State Audit Office of Georgia.

Rusudan started her career as an Assistant Auditor and within 7 years she became an Audit Partner. Working on different Audit projects gave Rusudan a unique ability to quickly understand the inner workings of a business, and see the opportunities and risks. As a Financial Manager, she learned to find and implement solutions, minimize risks and work on the International Scope taking into consideration various legislative and regulatory requirements from different countries.

Though working as a Senior Training Coordinator with The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) on a joint project with the Asian Development Bank and the World bank, she trained more than 300 Auditors in Georgia to implement Audit Standards and Manuals. Rusudan liaised with professional Accountancy Organizations (GFPAA and GFAAFM) and the Governing Body (SARAS) to promote Audit and increase Audit Quality in the field.
